The design itself has proven its strength on race, MTB and roadbikes, so why not in BMX street? STRANGER designed this new one with durability and strength in mind.
Using a tapered headtube gives a larger tubing/headtube welded junction, which gives a stronger front end.
Of course, if we have a bigger headtube, a classic fork would look weird. That's why the brand also came up with a matching fork, also featuring an oversized tapered steerer, and investment cast dropouts. The kit also includes a PRIMO Tapered bearings kit.
You will also find these investment cast dropouts in the frame, along with two integrated chain tensioners.
For the same price as a classic frame kit, you get something stronger and with approx. the same weight as any other investment cast frame/fork combo.
